Chamber Concert


Adderbury Ensemble with Viv McLean, piano


Music by Chopin, Mozart and Dvorak


The Adderbury Ensemble plays in a number of combinations, and for our opening concert of the season they will be joined by Viv McLean on the piano.  They play Chopin, Mozart and Dvorak.  The Dvorak piano quintet is a wonderful piece, full of melody and expression and is not to be missed.

A Breeze Through the 20th Century


Ensemble Renard

Wind music by various composers including Barber, Ligeti and Nielson


Ensemble Renard take us on a tour of some of the best known music written for wind instruments in the 20th century.  The group performs exciting and varied pieces that demonstrate the versatility of the ensemble.

Meraki Duo bring us the sounds of the flute and the guitar. Their programme is filled with instrumental songs which, despite coming from all corners of the world, share common human themes of nostalgia, melancholy or ephemerality in connection with nature, people and places.
