What a treat for our enthusiastic audience at our opening concert, as Ensemble Serafin performed three great piano trios by Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert. We listened, spell-bound, to three outstanding performances played with joy and passion by Nicky Tait Baxter, Nicola Loud and Viv McLean. This was playing of the highest standard in a setting where the interaction between the musicians and between them and those of us lucky enough to be there was immediate and intense. Thank you so much, Ensemble Serafin.
